Barak: Consider suing Swedish reporter in IDF organ harvest report
Defense Minister Ehud Barak instructed the defense establishment's legal adviser to examine options for submitting a libel suit against the Swedish reporter who claimed that the IDF murders Palestinians in order to harvest their organs.
Barak also sent a message to the Swedish foreign minister saying that he expects the Swedish government to dismiss the report. The defense minister emphasized that such claims "are not within the realm of legitimate criticism, but rather are a despicable false charge that has no place in a democratic atmosphere of freedom of expression and freedom of thought."
