Norwegian FM to Barak: Israel is a friend
Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere on the telephone on Friday.
Barak expressed his displeasure with the Norwegian fund's decision to pull its investments in Israeli company Elbit Systems. The Norwegian foreign minister said this was a private fund that the government has no control over. He said the Norwegian government has invested greatly in Israel and views it as a friendly state.
