Nasrallah on bankruptcy scandal: We lost no more than $4 million
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah denied that his organization had any connection to the bankruptcy of Lebanese businessman Salah Ezzedine, and claimed that the man did not lose massive sums of money.
Lebanese newspaper al-Akhbar reported that behind closed doors Nasrallah expressed his regret that certain officials tried to take advantage of the situation by issuing exaggerated reports that degraded Hezbollah. Nasrallah reportedly confirmed that Hezbollah invested a certain amount of money with the businessman, but that the sum "does not exceed $4 million." (Roee Nahmias)
