PM: Time to exacerbate sanctions against Iran

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee's meeting that he feels France, Germany and England are in favor of exacerbating sanctions against Iran, "In light of its evasiveness on nuclear issues."

"I believe now is the time to sanction Iran in a serious way. Heavy sanctions can be effective. The international community is strong and the Iranian regime weak. Most Iranians loathe the government and would not rally around it should the sanctions worsen," the prime minister said. (Attila Somfalvi)
