Train derails in Romania, sabotage suspected

Transportation Minister Radu Berceanu who surveyed the scene says a preliminary inquiry points to a "criminal act.' He says several bolts and nuts were unscrewed from the rails and that caused the train to leave the track.

The train was traveling overnight to Bucharest from the western city of Timisoara. There were more than 300 people aboard the eight carriages of the train when it derailed near the southern city of Craiova early Monday. (AP)
