Egypt: We understand Abbas' refusal to renew peace talks
Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul-Gheit said that his country "understands" Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' decision not to renew negotiations with Israel before there is a freeze in settlement construction. Aboul-Gheit made the statements during a press conference in Cairo with his Jordanian counterpart. (AFP)
