Thousands of people marched towards the Mukataa in Ramallah on Wednesday to take part in a rally marking the fifth anniversary of the death of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
The rally will take place in the shadow of current President Mahmoud Abbas' announcement that he does not plan to run for another term in the upcoming elections, and a show of support of Abbas is expected. (Ali Waked, Ramallah)
