A woman, 79, and a man, 71, who were diagnosed with swine flu, died at Beersheva's Soroka Medical Center. Both of them suffered from serious chronic diseases.
The Health Ministry reported that swine flu cannot be ruled out as a cause of death. They are therefore being included in the mortality figures of the virus. So far, 55 people have died from swine flu in Israel. (Meital Yasur-Beit Or)
