Natan Sharansky named 'Man of the Year' by Russian Jews

The Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia has honored chairman of the Jewish Agency Natan Sharansky as "Man of the Year" during in a ceremony in Moscow's Kremlin.

 

During the ceremony Sharansky declared that some 200 Ulpan classes for the study of Hebrew will resume activity across the former Soviet Union after being shut down several months ago. (Yael Branovsky)
