IDF: Cell attacked in Gaza was preparing to launch rockets
The Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson's Office says the air strike in the Gaza Strip town of Khan Younis, which left a commander of the Popular Resistance Committees killed and three people injured, was directed at terrorists planning to launch rockets into Israel.
The IDF stressed that the army would "not tolerate any firing incident on the part of the terror organizations towards the State of Israel, and will continue to act firmly against any attempt to interrupt the calm in Israel's communities and in the southern part of the country." (Ynet)
