Al-Qaeda in North Africa postpones execution of hostage
Al-Qaeda in North Africa agreed to postpone to an unknown date the ultimatum previously issued for the release of four of its members jailed in Mali, the organization's chief negotiator said. The ultimatum was originally set for Saturday night.
At the beginning of January the organization had threatened that it would execute a French hostage who was kidnapped in November if the Mali government did not comply with their demands within 20 days. (AFP)
