Heshin: 'Price tag' concept – religious rebellion against State
Retired Supreme Court Justice Mishael Heshin spoke during a Knesset session on insubordination in the military on Monday, saying, "The root of today's insubordination is the existence of a state within a state. We are eating the fruits of a tree that has been growing all these years. This state within a state is being ruled by people from the outside of the system.
"The rabbis are the teachers of the path, and they are obeyed…The State's weakness is what led us to this over the years. The concept of a 'price tag' is nothing more than the result of what has happened up to this day. It is a kind of religious rebellion against the State." (Amnon Meranda)
