Court dismisses Elior Chen's attorney
The Jerusalem District Court has dismissed attorney Ariel Atari in a rare move and replaced him with a public defender. Atari represented Elior Chen, who is charged with several counts of severe child abuse.
The cause for the dismissal was Atari's neglect to question witnesses for the prosecution after his request for a continuance was denied. The trial will thus be postponed for a few months. (Aviad Glickman)
