US report: Israel neglects mosques, churches
A report issued by the US State Department says that Israel is neglecting mosques and churches despite its claims of preserving all religious holy sites.
The report noted that sites such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre are protected for their international significance, whereas other mosques and churches are are under constant threat by local authorities and contractors as opposed to Jewish sites. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
