Professor Hanan Eshel, one of Israel's leading archeologists, died on Thursday.
Eshel held classes in the Bar Ilan University and was one of the founders of Ofra. He was regarded a world-class expert on the history of the Dead Sea scrolls. (Shmulik Grossman)
