State officials satisfied with takeover of aid vessel

Senior state officials in Jerusalem expressed their satisfaction over the quiet takeover of the Gaza-bound Rachel Corrie aid vessel and over the Irish government's handling of the situation, "despite the significant differences between the countries."

 

One of the sources said that "although it is one of the most hostile governments to Israel in the European Union, it should be noted that the Irish government acted with a lot of restraint on the matter." (Roni Sofer)
