Erekat: If talks fail, PA will disappear
The Palestinian Authority will "disappear" if direct negotiations do not lead to a peace agreement, warned chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat.
"We hope to achieve a Palestinian state. If that doesn't happen, it will signal the end of the Palestinian Authority and the victory of the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip. If we do reach an agreement – it will lead to the disappearance of Hamas," he said. (AFP)
