PM to Blair: Construction freeze won't continue further
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Quartet envoy to the Middle East Tony Blair in his office in Jerusalem on Sunday. Netanyahu told Blair that the Palestinian demand to cease all construction in the West Bank after the end of the freeze will not be met.
Nevertheless, Netanyahu stressed that Israel "will not build all the tens of thousands of housing units awaiting approval, but on the other hand we won't freeze the lives of Judea and Samaria residents by freezing construction." (Attila Somfalvi)
