Ashkenazi: IDF keeping a close eye on border with Lebanon
Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi said during a patrol in the north, "Along side the calmness at the border with Lebanon, the Israel Defense Force was closely following everything that is being done on the other side of the border."
Ashkenazi lauded the many travelers who visited the Golan Heights and the Galilee during the holiday season and said, "We will make sure they can continue to visit the north in the future." (Hagai Einav)
