Poet's Gaza statements cause Knesset fury

Following his comments on Army Radio poet Nathan Zach told Ynet that he is willing to participate in an aid flotilla to Gaza in spite of the Israeli blockade. "If I were a better swimmer, I would swim to Gaza. There are things that need to be done, like the release of Gilad Shalit" he said.

MK Miri Regev (Likud) called for Zach's songs to be removed from the high school exams if he participates in a flotilla to Gaza. (Boaz Fyler and Roni Sofer)
