PM: Understanding with US greater than disagreements
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger at the general assembly of Jewish Federations of North America in New Orleans, and said he intended to talk to current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about ways of reaching a peace deal based on extensive understanding with the Palestinians and maybe with other Arab states.
He said Israel's understanding with the US on this issue is greater than the disagreements between then on various issues. (Attila Somfalvi)
