Iranian official: Israel attempted to hijack Teheran flight

An Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution official accused Israel of being the one behind an attempted hijack of a plane traveling from Teheran to Demascus over the weekend. Iran announced on Saturday that an armed man tried to hijack a plane.
The official claimed that the "attempted hijacking was intended to overshadow Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri's visit to Iran. (Dudi Cohen)
