Erekat: Hopes US recognizes Palestinian State
Palestinian chief of the PLO Steering and Monitoring Committee Saeb Erekat said during his visit to Egypt he hopes the United States will recognize an independent Palestinian State, in response to the continued building of settlements.
Lately Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay said they recognize a free and independent Palestinian State within the 1967 borders. (AFP)
