2 US gov't officials arrive in Israel
US National Security Council official Dennis Ross and the deputy of the special envoy to the Middle East David Hale have arrived in Israel. The Prime Minister's Office said the two will hold meetings regarding regional security issues in order to maintain Israel's comparative advantage in any future peace deal.
Sources close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he is determined to renew peace talks with the Palestinians and is working to achieve this. (Attila Somfalvi)
