Cairo: Pro-Mubarak protest attracts hundreds
Some 300 people gathered outside the Egyptian communication ministry building in Cairo Monday to express their support of President Hosni Mubarak. Eye witnesses told Al Jazeera that the crowd chanted songs in favor of the Egyptian government.
This is the first instance Egyptian citizens have expressed public support of the president. A mass anti-government protest is scheduled to take place Tuesday. (Ynet)
