Jerusalem Police on high alert near Temple Mount

The Jerusalem Police have boosted their forces ahead of the Friday prayers at the Temple Mount, on the backdrop of the recent events in Egypt and following intelligence information.

Worshippers over the age of 50, who own an Israeli identity card, will be the only ones allowed to enter the Mount. Police officials said they would respond firmly to any attempt to disrupt the order. (Yair Altman)
