Goldstone: If I'd known then what I know now, report would have been different

The head of a UN probe into alleged war crimes carried out by Israel and Hamas during the 2008 conflict in the Gaza Strip lamented his criticism of Israel on Friday, saying his findings would have been different had Israel cooperated with his committee.

In an article published Friday by Washington Post, Richard Goldstone wrote "the purpose of the Goldstone Report was never to prove a foregone conclusion against Israel. I insisted on changing the original mandate adopted by the Human Rights Council, which was skewed against Israel." (Ynet)
