School day cancelled in south following rocket strikes
Following the escalation in the Gaza region, officials in the Shaar HaNegev regional council decided to bring the upcoming Passover vacation forward the cancel classes at area elementary schools Friday.
Kindergartens will operate normally in the region, and schools will also remain open in Ashkelon, Sderot, and the Eshkol regional council. (Ilana Curial and Shmulik Hadad)
