Hamas: Palestinian response has been restricted
Hamas issued a statement on Saturday in which it blamed Israel for the escalation in the south claiming it does not "heed a policy of restraint, unlike the Palestinian factions."
The statement further noted: "Hamas is warning Israel not to continue with its crimes, as the movement will not sit idly by. Israel will be well advised to realize that the Palestinian factions' response thus far has been restricted." Hamas also placed responsibility on the international community for not condemning Israel's actions. (Elior Levy)
