Report: Ukrainian officials recognize Palestinian state
Ukrainian officials have announced they recognize a Palestinian state and support the Palestinian Authority's attempt to get the United Nations' recognition come September, according to Senior Fatah member Nabil Shaath.
Shaath met with Ukrainian officials Saturday after which he said: "We feel the Ukrainian officials greatly support us politically and understand the Palestinian position and demands." (Elior Levy)
