Hospital: Public transportation reforms will hurt patients

The public transportation reforms in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area will leave many areas cut off from the Sheba Medical Center and will hurt many patients, the hospital's Director General Professor Zeev Rothstein revealed in a letter to the Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz.

In the letter Rothstein claimed that "the move wasn't coordinated with anyone in the hospital. It would hurt patients, mainly those from lower income backgrounds, senior citizens and patients with limited mobility". (Yoav Zitun)
