Barak says Israel sees rocket fire as 'serious'
Defense Minister Ehud Barak condemned the Grad rocket fire from Gaza over the past week, saying, "We see this fire as very serious. We responded with aerial strikes on a number of targets, including tunnels, outposts, and weapons facilities. This is the infrastructure of terror organizations."
Barak added that he had decided to deploy an Iron Dome battery in Ashkelon "due to the escalating tensions in the area." (Attila Somfalvi)
