PLO: Palmer Report violates intl. law
The PLO's executive committee on Sunday claimed that the Palmer Report into the events surrounding the Gaza flotilla last year put the most basic of international laws to shame. In an announcement the committee promised to continue in its efforts to expose what it calls the illegal blockade on the Gaza Strip – even though the report determined the blockade did not violate international law.
"The Palmer Report violates the fundamental rules of international law," the PLO statement noted. (Elior Levy)
