Iran: Khamenei rejects 'absurd accusations' over assassination plot
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected Washington's "absurd accusations" over an alleged plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States.
The United States "have created a story these days (...) with absurd accusations against a number of Iranians (...) and accused Iran of supporting terrorism, but this type of conspiracy fails to isolate the Islamic Republic," Ayatollah Khamenei said in a televised speech. (AFP)
