OSCE slams French ban on Armenian genocide denial
The European Union's Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) criticized the French lower house of parliament's decision to pass a bill banning the denial of the Armenian genocide, which deteriorated relations between France and Turkey.
The OSCE said should the bill be passed into law it would raise concerns regarding international standards of freedom of expression. (AFP)
