Attorney general to form committee to combat women's exclusion

The attorney general has decided to form a Justice Ministry committee that would devise legislative, legal and administrative ways to combat the exclusion of women from the public sphere, as well as verbal and physical violence directed at women.

Yehuda Weinstein gathered top State Prosecution officials on Thursday to discuss the issue. "Women's exclusion and violence against women is a phenomenon that a proper society cannot accept," he said. (Aviad Glickman)
