Israeli singer of Druze descent was slated to perform in Ramallah on New Year's Eve, but the concert was canceled following an anti-Israel campaign initiated by a group of young locals.
The singer, Sharif, told Ynet he is convinced he will perform in the West Bank city in the future. "There is a huge audience there which has known me since I was seven years old," he said. (Elioe Levy and Avi Shushan)
