Electric Corporation approves 'Tamar' gas purchase

The Israel Electric Corporation's Board of Directors approved an agreement for gas purchase from the "Tamar" partnership on Sunday. Before the deal's final approval the matter will be discussed at the Israel Electricity Authority and at the Israel Antitrust Authority.

The board reached an agreement after yielding their original conditions of getting the lowest prices in market, and reopening the contract after every change in regulation. (Lior Gutman, Calcalist)
