Officials: UN coordinator abuses position by taking part in J'lem conference
Official sources said that the Foreign Ministry is furious over the participation of Robert Serry, the UN special coordinator for the Middle East peace, in the International Conference for Defense of Jerusalem in Doha, Qatar.
"Serry's betraying his position in the UN, just by his presence at the conference. He rarely denounces Qassam rockets fired from Gaza to Israel," one source said. The sources estimated that Serry will be summoned for a meeting in which he will likely be reprimanded. (Attila Somflavi)
