Israel Securities Authority probing Bank Leumi
The Israel Securities Authority has launched an investigation into alleged improprieties by Bank Leumi, which it suspects raised funds via a bonds issue, despite knowing that the bank will issue profit warning within days of the financing round.
Bank Leumi said the investigation was "an administrative procedure. The Bank is lending the ISA its full cooperation." (Elitsafan Rosenberg)
