Source: Islamic Jihad behind attack in south
A government sources said that the terrorists who carried out the attack near Kadesh Barnea in southern Israel Monday morning crossed into the Sinai Peninsula from Gaza Strip. "The Islamic Jihad realized that they can't fire rockets from the strip without getting a harsh response from Israel, therefore they carry out attacks along the border fence," the source said.
"The tanks deployed to the border are not there because of an Egyptian threat," the source added, "But due to their technological capability to detect terrorists." (Attila Somfalvi)
