German rabbis advise students to remove yarmulkes in public
German rabbis warned their students against wearing their skullcaps in public to avoid assault, German newspaper Build reported Thursday after four Arab youths attacked a rabbi in Berlin.
"We are safer when we cannot be identified as Jews," Walter Homolka, rector of the Abraham Geiger College in Potsdam, said. (AFP)
