Deputy State Prosecutor: Olmert affair not over
After the Jerusalem District Court sentenced former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to probation and ordered him to pay a fine, Deputy State Prosecutor Eli Abarbanel said on Monday the State Prosecutor's Office is still studying the verdict.
He further said that it has not yet been decided whether or not Olmert's acquittal will be appealed, due to the large number of charges against him. "This affair is not over," he said. (Aviel Magnezi and Moran Azulay)
