IDF intel chief: Syria battles only few miles away from Israel
"The fighting between the Syrian army and militants is moving closer and closer to the border line" IDF Chief of Intelligence, Major-General Avi Kochavi, said during a tour of the Israel-Syrian border.
Kochavi added that "the weakening of the Syrian regime and the increasing influence of global Jihad are a new global threat." (Yoav Zitun)
