Abbas: We do not wish to delegitimize Israel

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that the Palestinians are determined to appeal to the UN requesting a status upgrade at this month's General Assembly.

"We will approach the UN even though they do not want us to. We have no desire to delegitimize Israel, but we wish to delegitimize the settlements," Abbas said. (Elior Levy)
