Israel tells foreign diplomats Gaza op to be expanded
In a message to world nations, Israel said the IDF is gearing towards significantly expanding its operation in the Gaza Strip, and has begun drafting tens of thousands of reserve troops ahead of a ground incursion.
Israeli officials have told foreign diplomats that the image of a bleeding baby who was injured in a rocket attack in Kiryat Malachi "says it all," adding that Hamas is hurting children on both sides and is using kids as human shields. The officials further stressed that the citizens of Israel are behind the operation. (Itamar Eichner)
