UK's Standard Chartered fined for sanction violation
British Standard Chartered Bank will pay $327 million to US authorities for illegal transactions with Iran that violate the sanctions imposed by the United States.
This amount will be added to the heavy fine of $ 340 million already paid in August by the bank to the State of New York, for illegal transactions. (AFP)
