IAF F-16 glides off runway; no injuries
An Israeli Air Force F-16 fighter plane which conducted a routine training flight on Tuesday, was harmed after gliding off the runway at the Ramat David base in the Jezreel Valley. There were no injuries and an initial inquiry suggests that the reason for the incident stems from a technical difficulty and not the pilot's human error.
The rare incident occurred at the flight's end, when the plane landed procedurally and drove on the runway for after-flight treatment. (Yoav Zitun)
