State to High Court: Lift Bab al-Shams injunction
The State asked the High Court lift a temporary injunction forbidding the dismantling of the tents in the Palestinian outpost of Bab al-Shams in the E1 area. The state claims that the original petition should be rejected on the grounds that out the 27 tents currently in the area only four are located on private land, and the rest on state owned land.
In addition, the government noted that the outpost poses a security threat and that the petitioners themselves have changed the outpost despite the court injunction. (Aviel Magnezi)
