WSJ: Russia sends 12 warships to patrol Syrian coast
Russia sent at least 12 ships to patrol off the naval base in Syria. It is a move that American and European officials have called aggressive, designed to warn the West and Israel not to intervene in the country’s civil war, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.
Earlier it was reported in The New York Times that Russia had moved advanced anti-ship cruise missiles to Syria. (Ynet)
